"Angie"
For time:
100 Pull-ups
100 Push-ups
100 Sit-ups
100 Squats
A couple ground rules:
1) These exercises are done straight through (you do 100 pull=ups, then 100 push-ups, etc);
2) Obviously you'll have to break the sets up a little bit, do what you can;
3) Sit-ups should be unanchored (hands behind your head or clasped in front, but always touching your body;
4) Typical rules apply to squats (have a bench or box to touch down on - no resting)
5) Watch your hands on the pull-ups, might want to try gloves, I've lost some calluses hitting 100 pull-ups.
I think that this is one of the best measurements of gymnastic (body weight) endurance and work ability. It will not feel great, but you will upon completion. How many people wake up on a Saturday morning and think, "I just might go move my body through several painful positions...400 times?"

I think Mary and I are caught up- we've been about a day or two behind everyone else.
Great workout- Mary and I both died on the pullups.
Mary: 22:17 (50 pullups)
Tim: 19:00 (80 pullups)
Mike - 38:23
Pull-ups: 50 basically strict (I have been working on the kipping, but I'm really struggling on the transition from being above the bar, while keeping momentum going to get into the next rep). Then the next 50 were assisted/jumping pulls.
Push-ups: maintained really solid form here.
Sit-ups: hands on my chest - I tried doing a few with my hands clasped behind my head...ummm...infinitely harder!
Squats: David, can you clarify what you meant by "without resting"? Also, when they talk about releasing/extending the hips at the top, do they basically mean standing up straight to truly finish the rep?
i think what david means by no resting is basically sitting on the box on the way down... and on the extension of the hips at the top i think they mean to basically end in the position of a thrust, or in the same position you are at in the end part of a deadlift... clarify if im wrong david...
David: 20:20
Erin: 27:00
BP: you hit the nail on the head with the squats.
gonna have to do this workout tomorrow, gym is closed, i just wont take a rest day
